Kurt was the creative director and designer for a mobile app timed to accompany a “Looking at Ansel Adams,” a new book about that singular American photographer. The book takes a close look at 20 iconic Ansel Adams photographs as a gateway to exploring his life and his practice. The app is a user-friendly tool for examining high-resolution versions of the photos, learning about the techniques Ansel used to create them and exploring the locations where they were photographed. The project was for MX Entertainment and was commissioned by the Ansel Adams Trust.
